These terms cover your use of the Balancr iPhone app and balancr.fit. By using Balancr, you agree to them. "Balancr", "we" and "us" mean the team behind the app.

What Balancr is

Balancr helps you log food, training and progress. It provides general wellness information only. It is not medical advice, and it doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Calorie, nutrition and workout numbers, including AI estimates, are approximate. Talk to a qualified health professional before making changes to your diet, exercise or health care.

Your data

Your log is stored on your device. Backups are files you export from the app yourself; we don't keep a copy. You are responsible for keeping a backup if you need one. See our Privacy Policy for details.

AI features

AI features send the text or photo you choose to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate an answer. AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important, and don't rely on them for medical decisions.

Subscription

Some features need a paid subscription, bought through Apple. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Accounts

We plan to add accounts for the paid version, using Sign in with Apple or email. If you create one, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has access.

Fair use

Please don't misuse Balancr: no trying to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, and no using AI features to create unlawful or harmful content.

Our content

The app, its design and the Balancr name belong to us. You keep ownership of what you log.

Changes and availability

We may update Balancr or these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app. We may pause or end features, and we'll try to give notice.

Disclaimers and limits

Balancr is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.

Apple

These terms are between you and Balancr, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.
